The Serengeti Migration Camp is the true manifestation of a Serengeti Camp experience; the rawest Safari experience on offer. The Camp is hidden among the rocky outcrops of the Serengeti National Parks north west and looks over the Grumeti River which is home to huge populations of Hippos that bathe their days away in the sunshine. The Camp is comprised of an open-plan lounge, dining room with a viewing platform with a camp fire; all of which have been put together for guests to enjoy the seemingly endless views. The Serengeti Migration Camps also has a large swimming pool for you to keep cool in the hot Tanzanian sun.
The camp sits the start of Great Wildebeest Migration which is a spectacle that attracts millions of tourists, scientists and film makers from around the globe. It is the largest migration of wild mammals in the world. The Serengeti Migration Camp is the ideal location to offer fantastic game views all year roung, and the camps over-watches the Grumeti River river crossing during the migration itself.
Accommodation at the Serengeti Migration Camp
The camp is comprised of 20 luxury spacious elevated tents with en suite bathrooms which have been decorated in dark wood and leather furnishings. Each tent is surrounded in a 360 degree viewing deck, which seconds as your own sanctuary to watch the animals pass by and listen to the sounds of the bush. The tents are equip with the own writing desk & stationary set to make note of the Animals you have seen or send a postcard back home. The rooms also include: a solar powered roof fan, en suite shower, flushing toilet, bathrobes & Slippers, in-room electronic safe, internal telephone system & wifi (in main lounge area).
