The Singita Faru Faru lodge is situated in Grumeti in Northern Tanzania. Grumeti forms part of the Serengeti National Park and is renound for its spectacular natural beauty and variety of wildlife. The Faru Faru Lodge is built on the side of a gently sloping hill and the riverine lode is positioned on the migratory route (The Great Wildebeest Migration). The Faru Faru Lodge is said to be the place where you can literally expect the unexpected. Not only is the Faru Faru the perfect location to enjoy the Vistas of the Serengeti but its close proximity to the river gives visitors the opportunity to rekindle their relationship with nature.
For visitors to the Faru Faru Lodge, expect to experience the informal, unconventional & surprising mix of contemporary, organic style & the quirky practicality of a traditional botanist camp.

The rates per night include all meals and beverages (excluded french champagne), twice daily open Land Rover Safaris, transfers to and from the Sasakwa airstrip and lodges, Telephone calls and Laundry Service. The nightly fee excludes the wildlife/ park fees, tourism development levy, Spa treatments, Additional Safari Vehicle & transport to and from Singita Grumeti or Singita Lamai
Amenities at the Faru Faru Lodge
- There are two swimming pools in the main lodge area.
- Spa and gym facilities are available.
- Singita Boutique & Gallery.
- There is a television in the lounge.
- This area does not have mobile phone signal.
- There is complimentary internet (WiFi) access, however due to the remote location of the lodge, the wireless connection can be slow and intermittent.
- Electricity/power available: 220V. Converters are also available and hair dryers are supplied in each suite.
- Children of all ages are welcome. There are babysitting services available and tailor-made activities to suit each family.
- In the interest of safety participation of children in game activities is at the discretion of your guide.
- Halaal food is available – please book in advance.
